BalticGamers.com celebrates its 1st birthday with a special SC2 tournament

Hi, everybody! Time flies so fast, it looks that only couple of months ago we were playing StarCraft II Beta and now you realize, that whole year is gone :D

This project was started on the last day of March, 2010. At the beginning our site was named StarCraftLT.com, some months later it was renamed to BalticGamers.com with the clear intention to work more in Baltic region eSports scene and also to accommodate not only StarCraft II players, but all Baltic gamers of the strategy genre including RTS and TBS.

After launch of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty our life looked like crazy roller-coaster ride – one event after another, tournament after tournament… new sponsors, nice prizes and all of this was done just in one year and not without the help of young, active and talented members of our community. Especially I would like to give a shout-out to Andrius Ševčenko a.k.a CableGuy [nonpc]; Vidas Zelčius a.k.a BearGoesWild; Eustacer; Zeratul09 [Plutonij], Rengler and SpiriT.

I will not go into details about the lats year, because in the near future you will be presented with thorough report about Baltic StarCraft II scene of 2010. So let’s move to the most interesting part :)
